[אָבִיר adjective strong; always = substantive the Strong, old name for God (poetry); only construct in אֲבִיר יַעֲקֹב 1 Mos 49,24 & thence Sl 132,2; Sl 132,5; Es 49,26; Es 60,16 יִשְׂרָאֵל ׳א Es 1,24 (compare Che critical note) — Ba^{NB 51} assigns this construct to אַבִּיר.
