II. [שׁוּק ] verb probably be abundant (Assyrian šû‡u, abundance); —
Po`l. Imperfect 3 masculine singular suffix וַתְּשֹׁקֶקֶהָ Sl 65,10 thou (׳י) hast visited the earth and given it abundance (Hup Che and others; > Vrss thought of הִשְׁקָה irrigate, so Bae EV). Hiph`il Perfect consecutive וְהֵשִׁיקוּ הַיְקָבִים תִּירוֺשׁ Joel 2,24 the vats overflow with must, so (accusative omitted) Joel 4,13.
